Discussion Board > Safety Gear requirements

I'd like to know what the requirements are as far as leathers, shoes etc. for entry to Burke and Okemo-can anyone inform me or point me in a direction? ( I'm not sure who the organizing body is for bikes on these events.) Thanks!

Steve,
Essentially, full leather and street boots. Same as a track day or the like. I did Burke last year. I had a leather jacket and pants, gloves, and street boots. I'm not sure if the helmet needs to be SNELL 20XX...or just DOT approved.

Bottom line: look out for yourself. Be as best protected as you can. It's your own hide! :~)
